My good friend of the last several years Kevin 'Keeevvveeeee' is headed up back up to p-town to continue his baseball infamy at College. Here is to a better season than last year buddy, Cheers. I had the absolute pleasure of hanging out with him last night at the Jeter Brother's humble abode and watched as he tried to by drinks off of Donnie, very funny. Dont know if he ever talked him into it or not but he sure gave it a good try. Well buddy I should of just stayed there and hung with you guys. But no I had to start thinking with my other head and left for a girl that I am now pissed at so go figure. I can't wait to read the blog when it is finnaly up and running. Well man hope you had a safe trip and I will see you soon.

Quite possibly the most disturbing banner I have seen yet on the net... Looks like wilson from castaway in a low budget porn or somehting scary like that. Also dosent the guy on the right look alot like Preston Lacey the fat guy from Jackass???

Shoes

So I am in the market for a new pair of shoes, and might of settled on a winner. That is the shoe pictured here. It is made by a company named Macbeth that I think is out of London, but that's not that important anyways. I like there bold contrasting color schemes and clean lines plus they aren't all that expensive which I also like a lot. I need a shoes that not only looks good but goes on easy and is one that I can long board in. So let me know do you like them or love them and do you have a favorite pair of shoes you would recommend for me?

Solo

Ok so right now I am flying solo in the climbing partners catergory and will be even more alone when everyone leaves to go back up to college, so I am putting the word out if you read this and like to rock climb or want to get into it leave me a message and we can talk more...

HALO

No I did not mis-spell "Holla" that gangsta term everyone seems to be using on the net scene, I am talking Halo the most amazing game ever.... I think that Halo is like the Godfather of all video games at present. No one is going to say that is sucks because to many people have to much respect for it and they would be instantly attacked by all sides by giant mother bears and ripped to shreads like youth by Elija. It really is the supreme ruller of late night gaming and has cause a real influx of gamers in the gamer population, hell it is even bringing girls into gaming and how can anything that does that be bad??? Well got to get my ass kicked by my buddies.

Inclimb

So while we were in Bend on of the many fun things we did was go rock climbing at an indoor climbing gym . Some people might think it is silly to go to an indoor gym when you are so close to smith rock, however when it's 100 F out you really dont want to be out in the hot sun. The gym was ok, not great however, and for the price they were charging it should of been great... The staff were more interested in whatever the hell they were doing the whole time we were there and I kind was feeling like they really would of prefered us to stay at home that day. Needless to say I wouldn't want them to work at my gym if I was the owner. Regaurdless of the crapy staff and the hot day me and Sammy Moore had a great time and Bryn took a long nap (talk about a waste of money). Here are some cool pics from the outing.

On the job

Soooo, I have a new job, started on monday and hopefully will be keeping this one for a while. I am the newest "Blind Guy" at Budget Blinds. It's a pretty good regular job in the sense that I get to work in air conditioned homes most the time and the hours are normally 8-5 mon-friday, plus the pays better then minimum wage. I heard a rumor today also that if we make the top 5 stores in the nation then the boss is taking us all to Hawaii for a week. Not sure if that applies to me or not seeing as I am the new guy but I thought that was pretty cool. I am working full time this week and next week then have the third week off, so ya new job more money and way less free time...

Weeks Review

All in all the trip was a success with both hi's and low's but that is to be expected when spending that much time in one place with your family, right? The fishing was beautiful though very frusterating for a fly fisherman such as my self and also was very unproductive in terms of fish caught. However thats not really the reason I fly fish, if I wanted to just catch fish I would use a spinning rod... But seriously it's just as much about the experience of being outside in nature and enjoying the outing. So I might not of caught a lot of fish but I did get a lot of much needed time think and process a bunch of stuff thats been running through my head lately. I have pretty much decided that I am going to Sweden in the spring but more about that in the future.
Also coming in the future of our time reviews on both my new job, you never knew blinds could be so sexy, and a kick-ass summer camp in Bend, where else!

Vacation Time

Well I know you are not supposed to take work with you on vacation but I have and I never sleep what can I say. My family plus a certain Sam Moore have now gone camping (yes in the dirt cause that's how it is supposed to be done) and are now relaxing at our friends cabin in sunriver fishing, longboarding, and eating good. If only this was all life was the world would be a better place, at least in my eyes it would be. It's great to be outside the majority of the day enjoying God's great creation with people you love. If you haven't been camping recently or at least on a hike or expedtion into the woods or up a mountain recently, get out there and do it. It is a great time to not only talk with friends and take in some sites but to also do some much needed thinking. You don't have much to do during the day and the nights can go as late as you want, so get together some friends and get out the door.
